Gwen Jackson is no stranger to The hempstead school board, she served as a trustee from 2015-2018, held the title of Vice-President (2016-2018) and Audit Committee Chair.

  • Created over a 13 million dollar fund balance

  • Brought in a Forensic Auditing Firm which has uncovered criminal activities

  • Restored a Fiscally Sound Rating to our district

  • Eliminated overcrowding by starting the rebuilding of Rhodes School

  • Zero increase in school tax for the 2017-2018 School Year while safeguarding the taxpayers' dollars by demanding fiscal accountability and transparency
